LEADTOOLS Check Scanning App: A Powerful Tool for Developers
LEADTOOLS Check Scanning App is an Android-based application that provides a super-fast and accurate Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) on checks and images. This app is specially designed for developers to showcase the capabilities of the LEADTOOLS Advantage OCR engine. The app automatically detects and extracts MICR E-13B and CMC-7 font, and displays the extracted MICR line fields for the read MICR code.
This app provides various features for developers, including the ability to recognize MICR codes from images/checks using live capture from your camera, still frame images from your camera, and images in the gallery. It also shows the part of the original image that contains the MICR code area and the extracted MICR code fields such as Transit, Amount, On-Us, Account number, EPC, and Routing. Developers can select, highlight, copy and paste the text, as well as the full MICR string. Additionally, recognized images can be exported to your photo library, sent via email, or to any installed applications that support PNGs.
